John Lance

John Richard Lance, of Marshall, NC, formerly of Asheville, NC, 67, passed away at his home Wednesday, January 22, 2014. He was born September 25, 1946 to the late Garvis and Helma Carvael Lance.
He is survived by his wife Rita Hensley Lance; one daughter, Myshell Fisher and her husband Michael of Marshall; two sons, John Lance and his wife Kathy of Asheville and Randy Burrell of Asheville; one sister, Sharon Correll of Goldsboro, one brother, Robert Lance and his wife Marjorie of Houston, TX; seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Heather, Jennifer, Johnathan, Joshua, Austin and Zachery and seven great grandchildren.
John is U.S. Army veteran who served in Germany.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 27th at the Chapel of Faith at Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn, with Rev. Johnny Marlor officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 PM until the service. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
