John Ward

John 'Bob' Robert Ward, 81, of Nebo, NC passed away Monday, October 11, 2010 in Asheville, NC. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late John Arthur and Edith Jones Ward. Bob was a U.S. Navy Veteran, a Mason for over 25 years with membership in the Biltmore Lodge and retired from the Asheville City Police Dept. after 31 years.
Bob is survived his loving wife, Ava Redmond Ward; sister, June Branson of Knoxville, TN and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, October 14th in the Chapel of Faith at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
