John Warren

Canton - John Harry "Barney" Warren, age 75, of North Canton Road, died Friday, December 30, 2005 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. He was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County. He was the son of the late Harley and Maebelle Mills Warren. He was preceded in death by two sons, Johnny Ray and James Harry Warren. Mr. Warren was employed as a Crew Leader for Champion International for 37 ½ years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed spending time flea marketing. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Pearl Parker Warren; one daughter, Becky Warren of Florida; two sons, Robert Daniel Warren of Clarksville, TN and Hugh Alan Warren of Canton; one sister, Marjorie Wade of Honey in the Hills, FL; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. January 3, 2006 at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Old Clyde Road with the Reverend Jack Scott officiating.
