John Whittaker

Canton - John Daniel "Dan" Whittaker, age 95, of Pisgah Drive died Sunday, September 25, 2005 at his residence. He was the son of the late William and Mary Hamon Whittaker and was a native of Delavan, Illinois. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 65 years, Norma Evelyn Whittaker. In addition to his second wife of seven years, Bonnie Vance Whittaker, he is survived by a daughter, Bonnie Whittaker Warren and her husband, Jeff of Canton; a son, Dr. Ron Whittaker and his wife, Nikita of Joshua Tree, CA; a sister-in-law, Wanda Whittaker of Mason City, IL; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2005 at Bethel United Methodist Church with the Reverend J. C. Krause officiating.
