Johnny Morrow

Waynesville, Johnny Morrow, age 65, of Morrow Mountain Road, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2012 at MedWest Haywood. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Carroll and Velma Fincher Morrow and was preceded in death by one nephew, Brian Morrow. He was a member of Long's Chapel United Methodist Church. He is survived by two sisters, Margaret and Elizabeth Morrow and two brothers, Joe Morrow and his wife, Sue, and James Morrow, all of Waynesville; two uncles, Milton "Frosty" Fincher and his wife, Burr, of Candler and Kenneth Morrow and his wife, Carolyn, of Clyde; and several cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2012 in the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Terry Rowland officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers will be Kenneth Morrow, Thad Medford, Tommy Moore, Edson Jaynes, Charles Jaynes and John Jaynes. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home and at other times, at the home at 24 Morrow Mountain Road.
