Joseph Medley

Maggie Valley-Joseph Jackson "Jack" Medley, age 74, of the Maggie Valley community, passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Iuka, MS, he was raised in Knoxville, TN and resided in Longboat Key, FL for 27 years and lived in Haywood County for the past three years. He was the son of the late Raymond Benjamin Medley. He was also preceded in death by a son, Allen Medley and a sister, Sadie Walker. Mr. Medley was a veteran of the US Air Force. He is survived by his mother, Inez Cutshall Medley; his wife of 30 years, Laura Medley; five sons, William Medley, and his wife, Elaine of Rapid City, SD; Michael Medley and his wife, Leesa of Knoxville, TN; Dustin Medley of Maggie Valley and Travis Medley, and his wife, Megan, of Knoxville, TN; three adopted children; Dan and Jeff Medley and Marlene Maher and two grandsons, Daniel and Zachary Medley and two granddaughters, Kaely Ann and Randi Lynn Medley all of Knoxville.
