Joseph Riddle

Joseph Seth Riddle, age 16, of 2026 Kims Cove Road passed away Friday, January 23, 2009. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, he was the son of Joseph D. "Joey" and Tina Williamson Riddle. Seth was a member of Bible Baptist Church. He enjoyed coon hunting with his dog, Waylon, and his cousin, Malachi. Seth loved camping and fishing. He was a 10th grade student at Pisgah High School where his favorite class was Paper and Pulp and he was looking forward to taking welding classes. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Addyson Christine Riddle, and a brother, Jacob Manse Riddle, both of the home; maternal grandparents, John and Colleen Williamson of Waynesville; paternal grandparents, Janet "Yoo Hoo" Riddle of Clyde and Roger and Kaye Riddle of Bethel; maternal great-grandmothers, Evelyn Williamson of Sylva, and Reba Clark and her husband, Charles, of Canton; paternal great-grandmother, Christine Riddle of Canton; and numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 27, 2009, at Bible Baptist Church with their pastor, Dwight Banks officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. Monday at Wells Funeral Home of Canton. Memorials may be made to Bible Baptist Church, 203 Bible Baptist Drive, Waynesville, NC 28786.
