Joseph Summerrow

Waynesville, Joseph Cabe "Jody" Summerrow, age 56, formerly of Meadow Street, died on Monday, January 28, 2008. A native and life-long resident of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Rufus Wesley and Martha Josephine Cabe Summerrow. He was a 1970 graduate of Tuscola High School and attended Toccoa Falls Bible College in Tocca Falls, GA. He was a former employee of Food Lion and was a member of Hazelwood Presbyterian Church. He is survived by three aunts, Ruth S. Crockett of Franklin and Edna L. Summerrow and Edith S. Whisenhunt and her husband, M.R. "Bud", all of Waynesville, and several cousins. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Hazelwood Presbyterian Church with Reverend Larry Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. Burial will be at Green Hill Cemetery.
