Josephine Tracy

Waynesville-Josephine "Jo" Tracy, age 88, of Lodge Lane, died Saturday, May 7, 2005. She was a native of Omaha, Nebraska and was the daughter of the late Walter H. and Marie Murphy Sautter. She was also preceded in death by her husband John J. Tracy who died in 1983. She was a costume mistress of H.A.R.T and was a member of the Waynesville Country Club and Waynesville Golf Club. She is survived by a daughter, Mitzi Chirillo, and her husband, Joseph Chirillo, of Philadelphia, PA; two sons, Terrence Tracy and his wife, Midge, of Atlanta, GA and Dennis Tracy, of Canton; three sisters three sisters, Jean Honig, of San Jose, CA, Patricia Watson, of NE, and Elieen McGinn, of Excelsior, MN; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Services and burial will be held in Omaha, Nebraska. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2005 at Wells Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Waynesville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 234 Church Street, Waynesville, NC 28786.
