Joseph Ruben Ingle

Mars Hill – Joseph Ruben Ingle, 86, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, January 17, 2021.

Ruben was the son of the late Dallas and Fleta Ballard Ingle.  He was also preceded in death by brothers, Howard (Sue), Pret, Jack (Shirley), David (Bobbie); and sister, Clara (Doug) Torrence.

Ruben retired from Sears and pursued his love of music with his band, Hammer Down.  Ruben is adored by his family and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Hosteller Ingle; daughter Debbie (Orville) English; son, Alan (Tracy) Ingle; a brother, George “Lorne” (Lorene) Ingle; a sister-in-law, Jaylene Ingle; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at Morning Star Community Cemetery with Reverend Keith Dockery officiating.  Due to Covid-19, masks and social distancing will be observed.
