Joshua Lowe

Joshua Hunter Lowe, five month old infant son of Reverends Justin and Melissa Lowe passed away on Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the John F. Keever, Jr. Solace Center in Asheville, North Carolina. Throughout Joshua's short life, he was able to light up a room with his smile. He loved listening to music, cuddling in the arms of loved ones, sharing smiles, and cooing. Joshua's life spoke often, "Be strong and courageous, Mommy and Daddy." In addition to his parents, he is survived by maternal grandparents, Michael and Elizabeth "Tilly" Welborn of Hoschton, Georgia; paternal grandparents, Trenten and Cindy Lowe of Liberty, North Carolina; an uncle, Jonathan Welborn; aunts, Caitlin Herrington and her husband, Matthew and Kimberly Blackaby and her husband, Robb; and many loved cousins and family members. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Long's Chapel United Methodist Church with the Reverend Amy Coles, Reverend Dr. Charles W. "Chuck" Wilson, II, and Reverend David Childers officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2014 at Wells Funeral Home of Canton.
