Joyce Stepp

Joyce Ann Talley Stepp, age 54, of 11 Locust Street died Monday, December 05, 2005 at her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and the daughter of the late William Herschel and Hattie Mae Brookshire Talley. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church and she was the floor manager at PLUS Linen and Uniform Service. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Terry Ray Stepp; a daughter, Angela Michelle Stepp Jones and her husband, Charles of Canton; two sons, Michael Ray Stepp and his wife, Chastity of Bryson City and Terry Wayne Stepp and his fiancé, Joy Smith of Clyde; a sister Mary Jane Schwanewede and her husband, Frederick of Clyde; a brother, Jim Talley and his wife, Cynthia of Canton and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2005 at Crestview Baptist Church with the Reverend Jerry Ensley officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Newfound Road. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Wells Funeral Home of Canton. The body will be placed in the church at 12:00 noon on Thursday prior to the service.
