Juanita Chapman

Juanita McFalls Chapman, age 71, went to heaven on Sunday, December 4, 2011, to be with her loved ones, at MedWest Haywood. A native of Swain County, she was a daughter of the late A. C. and Ethel Carver McFalls. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Max Haywood Chapman, who died on November 22, 2011 and a grandson, John Haywood Chapman, Jr., who died in 2009. Juanita was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and she enjoyed camping and quilting. She is survived by a son, John Haywood Chapman of Canton; a daughter, Sandra Hogg and her husband, Keith, of Clyde; three grandchildren, Michael Chambers and his wife, April, David Chambers and his wife, Ashley, and Kimberly Chapman; and two great-grandchildren, Savannah and Diesel Chambers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 8, 2011 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Bruce Cayton officiating. Burial will follow at Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
