Juanita Lillard

Waynesville, Juanita Lillard, age 82, of Conley, Georgia and formerly of Waynesville, passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Hospice Atlanta. A native and resident of Haywood County for 40 years, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Kate Chambers Gibson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aud Augustus Lillard, who passed away in 2005 and two sisters. Juanita was a devoted caregiver to her family and was a wonderful grandmother. She was a member of the Jehovah Witness Church. She is survived by a daughter, Lois McMillan, of Marietta, Georgia; two sons, Stanley Eugene Lillard of Conley, Georgia and James Robert Lillard and his wife, Jean, of Diamond, Ohio: four grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 2, 2010 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Louis Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
