Judith Chapman

Waynesville, Judith Chapman, age 72, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2012 at her home. A native of Rochester, New York, she had resided in Haywood County for the past five years. She was the daughter of the late Fred and Ann Flass Maxfield. Judith was Assistant Vice President of Nursing at Doylestown Hospital in Doylestown, Pennsylvania where she worked for 30 years and was a member of St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in Waynesville. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Dennis G. Chapman; two daughters, Lucinda Chapman of Waynesville and Gwendolyn Nugent and her husband, Ray, of Delray Beach, Florida; two sons, Curtis Chapman and his wife, Allison, of Naples, Florida and Andrew Chapman and his wife, Jennifer, of Gainesville, Florida; one sister, Carol Barringer, of Dublin, Pennsylvania; and four grandchildren, Garrett, Annabelle, and Maxfield Chapman and Olivia Nugent.
