Judy Ball

Barnardsville - Judy Carolyn Ball, age 60, died unexpectedly Friday, May 9, 2003 at her residence.

She was a native of Buncombe County and the daughter of Helen S. Banks Ball of Barnardsville and the late Willie K. Ball.

She was a member of West Canton Baptist Church.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by two daughters, Kim McBride of Canton and Jennifer Rathbone of Candler; three sisters, Elaine Medford of Canton, Sandra Hensley of Lyman, SC and Pam Anthony of Marion; six brothers, Sammy Ball, Larry Ball, Shelby Ball, Gary Ball, Gerald Ball and Kevin Boone all of Barnardsville as well as four grandchildren, Nick and Allyson Bryant and Daniel and Jessica Metcalf.

A memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2003 at Light House Baptist Church in Barnardsville with the Reverend Nelson Ponder officiating with a memorial graveside service following at 4:00 p.m. at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Clyde with Reverend James Huey officiating. At other times the family will be at the residence of her daughter, Kim McBride, 63 Phillipsville Loop, Canton or the residence of her mother, Helen Ball, 473 Stoney Fork Road, Barnardsville.
