Judy Hill

Judy Young Hill, age 77, died Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at John F. Keever Solace Center. A native of Buncombe County, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Jincie Cairnes Young. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert J. Hill, who died in 2005 and a sister, Patsy Mann. Judy was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and she thoroughly enjoyed cooking and watching the food network. She is survived by a daughter, Renee Howell and her husband, Gary, of Asheville; two sisters, Frankie Best, and Becky Warren and her husband, Dean, all of Candler; one brother, Troy Young and his wife, Carolyn, of Candler; one grandchild, Ashley Howell and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2008 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Jack W. Collins officiating. Burial will follow in Crawford/Ray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
