Judy Hobbs

Judy Barnett Hobbs, age 66, of Cedar Bend Lane died Tuesday, January 20, 2009, at her residence. A native of Blount County, TN, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Margaret Marrow Barnett. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Hobbs, who died in 1992; a sister, Suzann Jenkins and a brother, James Barnett. Judy enjoyed going to Lake Murray in the summer time, jet skiing, boating, and spending time with her family. She had many friends whom she loved dearly. She is survived by a son, Tommy Adams and his wife, Tammy, of Waynesville; a daughter, Paula Adams and significant other, Denese Ballew, of Waynesville; a brother, Tony Barnett and his wife, Sissy, of Stockbridge, GA; and two grandchildren, Brianna and Kaylee Adams. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, January 23, 2009, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home & Cremation Services with the Reverend Tim Drum officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:15 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Haywood Medical Center Hospice, 560 Leroy George Drive, Clyde, NC 28721.
