Judy Young

Canton - Judy Rector Young, age 82, died Friday, January 12, 2007 in Hickory. She was the daughter of the late John B. and Bertha Thomason Rector. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Vance Young, who died in 1979; four sisters, Margaret Parrott, Evelyn Clark, Sue Hunter and Francis Johnson; and three brothers, Lock Rector, James Rector and Earnest Rector. She was also a member of Crestview Baptist Church. She is survived by a son, James Robert Young, of Germany; a sister, Grace Glover, of Lincolnton, and several grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held. Wells Funeral Home of Canton is in charge of the arrangements.
