Clyde, Judy Dianne King, age 69, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Care Partners Solace Center.

Judy was the daughter of the late Rex Eugene and Lucille Scoggins Stroud, in addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Bobby Stroud; and sister, Joyce Cook. Judy was a member of First Baptist Church of Clyde. She enjoyed reading, helping others, making jewelry and scrapbooking.

Judy is survived by two daughters, Lisa Horner (Phillip Long), of Clyde and Mitzi Danley, of Rockingham, North Carolina; son, J. C. King, Jr., of Rockingham, North Carolina; sister, Debbie Lear and her husband, Frank, of Supply, North Carolina; nine grandchildren, Tabitha, Carisa, Jeffery, Seth, Casey, Dustin, Mitzi, Brittany and Travis; and six great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Clyde with Reverend Dr. T. David Phillip officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 8, 2017 at Richmond County Memorial Park with Alex Peraki officiating.
