"Loving Mother"

Waynesville, Judy Cogdill Morgan, 82, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Smoky Mountain Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born in Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Hershel and Beulah Ledbetter Cogdill. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, A.D. Wingate; her second husband, Alfred Morgan; a son, Donald Wingate; and four brothers.

Judy is survived by three daughters, Patricia Coward (Bobby) of Old Fort, Teresa Bell (Steven) of Atlanta and Lisa Dziemiajuk (Joe) of Sarasota, Florida; three sons, Danny Wingate of Waynesville, Randy Wingate of Leicester and Darrell Wingate of Clyde; and several grandchildren.

Private family services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018. The family will greet friends after 3:00 p.m. following the service at the home of Danny Wingate, 392 Auburn Park Drive, Waynesville.
