Waynesville – Judy Randolph Raley, 78, passed away on Monday, December 27, 2021 at Haywood Regional Medical Center.
Judy was a native of Madison County and a daughter of the late Lot and Lois Duck Randolph. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Raley, who passed away in 2018 and a sister; Jane Randolph Waldrup. Judy attended Western Carolina University and received a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She then became an elementary teacher in the Henderson County school system.
She is survived by a stepson, Richard Raley (Deanna) of Waynesville; one brother, Gary Randolph (Debra) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; one grandson, Reno Parker Raley; a niece, Becky Johnston (Dan) of Hampstead, North Carolina; and a nephew, Chris Waldrup of Tracey City, Tennessee.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Bethel Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. prior to the service at Wells Funeral Home in Canton.
