June 14, 1953 — July 27, 2005

Waynesville-June Howell Hall, age 52, of 176 Yarborough Street, died Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at her residence. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of Maebell Greene Howell and the late Millard Howell. Two grandchildren, Nathaniel Turcott, and Nathan Reyes also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and was a member of Camp Branch Freewill Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, tending to her flowers, and enjoyed helping others. In addition to her mother, she is survived by one daughter, Melissa Hall, and companion, Augustine Reyes, of Clyde; one son, Michael Hall, and his wife, Christy, of Waynesville; four sisters, Susie Rogers, and her husband, Wayne, of Leicester, Mildred Howell of Waynesville, Debbie Haney and her husband, Keith, of Waynesville and Beatrice Campbell and her husband, Bill, of Alabama; and two grandchildren, Krista and Christopher Hall. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 29, 2005 in the chapel of Wells Funeral Homes and Cremation Services with the Reverend Jimmy Trantham, Reverend James Robertson, and Reverend Charles Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Thursday, July 28, 2005 at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be William and Alan Howell, Tom Lanning, Matthew Woody, Keith Haney, and Brian Dobbins.
