Junnie Revis

Cruso-Junnie Belle Williams Revis, age 86 of 7613 Cruso Road, died Wednesday, March 9, 2005 at her residence. A native and lifelong resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Walter and Nettie Pressley Williams. She was preceded in death by her late husband Cecil Revis who died in 1979 and a son-in-law Donald Burress who died in 1982. She was as a housekeeper at the Haywood County Hospital until retiring in 1980 and then worked at Silver Bluff Nursing Home and was always a very hard worker. Mrs. Revis was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter Gail Burress of Canton, one son Phil Revis and his wife Linda of Wilkesboro, NC, two sisters, Rowena Buckner and her husband Kelly and Leona Franklin, all of Canton, 4 grandchildren, Pam Greene and her husband David, Laura Hubbard and her husband Jeff, Kevin Burress and his wife Robin and Scott Revis, 2 great-grandchildren Jennifer Robinson and her husband Adam and Katie Hubbard. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 13, 2005 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Reverend Heath Davis and Reverend Jimmy Burress will officiate. Burial will follow at New Cruso Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church prior to the service.
