Justin Elliott

Waynesville-Justin Lane Elliott, age 10, of 197 Hill View Circle, died on Monday, June 12, 2006 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Conyers, Georgia and a former resident of Jackson County, he was the son of Joel Larry Elliott of Conyers, Georgia and Lisa Smith Elliott of Waynesville. He was the March of Dimes Ambassador Child for Jackson County from 1999 - 2003. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Lilly Grace Elliott, of Waynesville; maternal grandparents, Cheryl Melhorn of Pinehurst, NC and Joe A. Smith of Sylva; paternal grandparents, Larry Elliott of Savannah, GA and Susan Wilson of Conyers, GA; two great grandmothers, Louise K. William of Waynesboro, VA and Paula Y. Smith of Highpoint, NC; an Uncle Joey A. Smith, Jr. of Waynesville; two aunts, Angie Chafin, of Waynesville and Brandy Wilson of Conyers, GA; cousins, Torie Smith, Michele Summey, Hunter Chafin, Austyn Turner, all of Waynesville; and a dear friend, Danette Wheeler of the Cruso Community. Funeral services will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at Webster Baptist Church with Reverend Mike Dellinger and Reverend David Powell officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 6:30 p.m. on Thursday evening prior to services at the church. Memorials may be made to the March of Dimes, 976 Haywood Road, Asheville, NC 28806.
