Karen Hall

Canton – Karen Lee Henderson Hall, 63, passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at Mission Hospital.

Karen was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and a daughter of the late Carroll Lee and Katherine Medford Henderson.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Obrine Hall, who died in 2019; a sister, Patty Paxton; and brother, Larry Daniel Henderson.  Karen was a 1979 graduate of Pisgah High School.

She is survived by a daughter, Katherine Hall of Canton; four sisters, Shelia Day (Brent) of Fordyce, Arkansas, Aretha Duzal (Stanley), Aileen Mills, and Charlene Wright (Johnny) all of Canton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 10, 2023, in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Brent Day officiating.  Burial will follow at Pisgah View Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends from 11:45 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
