Karen Mehaffey

Canton- Karen R. Mehaffey, age 28, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2010 at Medwest-Haywood. Karen was born in Brevard County, Florida and her parents are Ronnal and Kathy Reichard of Melbourne, Florida and Jean Ann Incampo of Connecticut. Karen loved her family and loved being a mom. She was a member of Crestview Baptist Church where she was in the choir, Bible drill and children's ministry. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Jerry Dean Mehaffey; four sons, Jonthan, Louis, Matthew and Joshua Mehaffey; two daughters, Leah and Kara Mehaffey all of the home; two stepsisters, Amy Clawges and her husband, Danny, of Melbourne, Florida and Chrissy Huffman and her husband, Aaron, of Olive Branch, Mississippi; two half-brothers, Cory Cox and Christopher Marlow; both of Melbourne, Florida; grandparents, Jack and Pat Ubbink, of Cocoa Beach, Florida; maternal grandmother, Antoinette Incampo of Connecticut; and paternal grandmother, Marjorie Reichard of Melbourne, Florida. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2010 at Crestview Baptist Church with the Reverends Dan Page, Larry Sprinkle, and Dwight Banks officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
