Karen Wojtczak

"Loving Mother, Sister and Friend" Canton – Karen Denise Allen Wojtczak, age 61, passed away on Sunday, December 27, 2015 at her home. A native of Haywood County, Karen was the daughter of David Lee and Reva Miller Allen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kalin Wojtczak, one brother, Jeff "Wormy" Allen, a step-brother, Paul Sova and one brother-in-law, Eddie Knight. Karen graduated from Pisgah High School in 1972 were she was a cheerleader for the varsity squad. Along with cheering, Karen was an accomplished square dancer travelling all over the United States throughout junior and senior high school. Karen married and moved to Chicago where she worked as a bookkeeper for 29 years. Later in life, she returned to Canton to care for her mother, who passed in 2013. Karen enjoyed nothing more than being with her beautiful children and spending time with family. She is survived by a daughter, Ashley Wojtczak; two sons, Zach and Blake Wojtczak, all of Chicago, Illinois; two brothers, David K. Allen and his wife, Mary, of Cumming, Georgia and Chip Allen, and his wife, Sarah, of Canton, Georgia; three step-brothers, Mike Sova and his wife, Jesse, John Sova and his wife, Kym, and Mark Sova; three step-sisters, Anita Conley and her husband, Mike, Linda Brown and her husband, Jeff, and Carol Knight; and extended family, John and Sherry Pruitt. A memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 31, 2015 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
