Katherine Jones

Katherine Virginia Lewis Jones, age 71, died Monday, March 27, 2006 at her daughter's residence. She was a daughter of the late Royer and Agnes Fender Lewis and the wife of the late Earl Carroll Jones who died in 1992. She was a member of War Creek Baptist Church in Sneedville, TN. She is survived by two daughters, Susan Bethea and her husband, Edward, of Hendersonville and Janet Ramsey and her husband, Dean, of West Asheville; four sons, Buddy Jones and his wife, Shelley, of Conover, Mark Jones and his wife, Joan, of Candler, Myron Jones of Candler and Tim Jones of Hendersonville; one sister, Mary Hensley, of Sneedville, TN; one brother, Jerry Patton, of Charlotte; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 30, 2006 at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Joe Hensley, Reverend Steve Hensley, and Reverend Scott Johnson officiating. Entombment will follow in Pisgah View Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
