Kathleen Bright

Kathleen Mabel Fisher Bright, age 80, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at her residence. A native of Madison County, she was a daughter of the late Claude P. and Elsie Delores Cannon Fisher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Burder G. Bright. Kathleen retired from American Enka Corporation with 30 years of service and was a member of High Street Baptist Church. She is survived by three sisters, Alma Goodpaster of Fairmount, IN, Willa Mae Jones of Asheville, and Frances Ramsey; three brothers, Wayne Fisher of Asheville, Kenneth Fisher of Lancaster, SC, and Jim Fisher of Candler; and special friends, Danny and Sheila Jones of Canton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 13, 2010 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services with the Reverend Christopher Willett officiating. Burial will follow at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery on the Old Clyde Road. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
