Kathleen Hoerber

March 9, 1945 — December 17, 2006

Waynesville-Kathleen F. Hoerber, age 61, of Parrish Farm Road, died on Sunday, December 17, 2006 at her residence. A native of Providence, Rhode Island, she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Lena Richard Famiglietti. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a niece, Toni Lynn Famliglietti and a nephew, David Orcutt, Jr. Kathleen was a 1962 graduate of Mount Pleasant High School in Providence, RI, and later moved to Jupiter, FL where she resided before moving to Haywood County in May 2002. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, Dennis Kent Hoerber; two sisters, Dolores Orcutt and her husband, David, of The Villages, FL and Dianne Sorensen and her husband, Donald, of Johnston, RI; a brother, Anthony Famiglietti, and his wife, Judy, of Taunton, MA; nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, January 20, 2007 at Grace Church in the Mountains with Pastor Frank Wagner and Pastor Miles Smith officiating. Inurnment will immediately follow in the Church's Memorial Gardens and reception immediately thereafter in the church fellowship hall. In lieu of flowers, the Kathleen F. Hoerber Memorial Foundation is being established for a no-kill animal facility in Waynesville. Specifics of the foundation are to follow.
