Katholeen Chambers

Katholeen Howell Chambers, 93, of Mills River, died Friday, June 22, 2012. She was born in Haywood County to the late John and Mary Dotson Howell. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Sam B. Chambers and five brothers. She attended Emmanuel Baptist Church in Mills River.
She is survived by her sister, Beatrice W. Dotson of Kingsport, TN; son, John Howell Chambers (Claire), daughter, Mary Anna Storm (fianc', Eddie Owen); grandchildren, Steve Chambers (Sharon), Donnie Chambers (Kathy), Gregory Lamb (Rosalba), Todd Lamb (Melanie McKinney), Christopher and Kristy Lamb and 8 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 27th at Moore Funeral Home at Forest Lawn Chapel of Faith, Candler. The Rev. Gregory Bell will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral. Her grandsons will be pallbearers. Burial will take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Candler.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church, 112 Rays Place Lane, Horse Shoe, NC 28742.
