Kathy Mease

Waynesville – Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Mease, age 67, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2016 at her residence. A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Weldon and Ethel Rogers Mease. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Carroll Mease. Kathy was a graduate of Pisgah High School and Blantons Business School. She was formerly employed with the Federal Government in Washington, DC and retired from NASA Space Center. Kathy was a member of Clyde Wesleyan Church. She is survived by her brother, Ronald Mease and his wife, Annis of Cadyville, New York; sister-in-law, Brenda Mease of Clyde and a special cousin, Pamela Sorrells and her husband, Darrell of Canton. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Spring Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with the Reverend Eddie Clayton officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Clyde Wesleyan Church, P.O. Box 856, Clyde, NC 28721.
