Clyde-Keith Adams, age 87, of Oak Park Drive, died Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Henrico County, Virginia, he had lived in College Park since 1946, and had lived in Haywood County for the last three and a half years. He was the son of the late Charles and Mary Kersey Adams. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Rosie Lee Collins Adams, who died in 1999; and four brothers and six sisters. He retired from Delta Airlines in 1983 after 23 years employment as an airline mechanic. He was a naval veteran of World War II and served in the Philippines on a destroyer in the Pacific. He was a member of the Cotton Indian Gem and Mineral Society and the Cobb County Gem and Mineral Society. He was also a former member of the VFW and American Legion in College Park. He was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church of Fairburn, Georgia. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 3, 2004 at Carmichael-Hemperly Funeral Home in East Point, GA. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services. He is survived by his son, William Keith Adams and his wife, Terri, of Clyde; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
