Keith Donaldson

Keith Alan Donaldson, age 29, of 6645 Jody Lane, Beaumont, TX died Sunday, March 18, 2007 at his residence. He was a native of Atlanta, GA but lived in Canton most of his life. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, James A. and Mae Phillips Sisson and his paternal grandparents, M. B. and Lorene Donaldson. He graduated from North Carolina State University with a degree in engineering and was employed with MeadWestvaco Paper as a paper machine engineer. Keith enjoyed traveling, music, and loved the mountains of western North Carolina. He is survived by his mother, Sue Sisson Donaldson of Clyde; his father, Dwight Donaldson and his wife, Kathi, of Flat Rock; a brother, Kelly Donaldson of Gainesville, GA; and step-grandparents, Joe and Barbara Brady of Asheville and Wiley Haynes of Clyde. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2007 at the Canton chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend Kyle Waitt officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Bon-A-Venture Cemetery, Old Clyde Road. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P. O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058-5216 or to Fireman's Benefit Association, 400 Walnut Street, Beaumont, TX 77701.
