Kenneth Duell

Waynesville, Kenneth James Duell, Jr., age 58, passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Autumn Care Nursing Home. A native of Wisconsin, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Caroline Matilda Andrle Duell. Kenneth was an amazing father, mentor, and coach, not only to his children but children all over Haywood County. He was an avid golfer, outdoorsman, and builder of many homes throughout the community and was a member of Long's Chapel United Methodist Church. He is survived by two daughters, Brittany Duell of Waynesville and Amy Duell of Jupiter, Florida; one son, Chris Duell, of Waynesville; and one sister, Cathy Grindle and her husband, Grant, of Wisconsin. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 13, 2012 at Long's Chapel United Methodist Church with Reverend Dr. Charles W. Wilson, II officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to services in the church venue.
