Dandridge, Tennessee-Kenneth Lane Jaynes, age 59, Sam Martin Road, Dandridge, died Tuesday, March 11, 2003 at his residence.
He was a native of Haywood County and a former resident of Candler, North Carolina. He was the son of Freda Fincher Jaynes, of Waynesville and the late James Edward Jaynes. He was a truck driver with Transport Drivers, Inc.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Joyce Christine McKinney Jaynes; two daughters, Donna Michelle Jaynes, of Charlotte and Dedra Thomas, of Morristown, TN; three sons, Robert Anthony Jaynes, of Waynesville, and Alan and Ricky Jarnigan, both of Morristown, TN; three brothers, Edson, Charles and John Jaynes, all of Waynesville; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 15, 2003 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Arden, of which he was a member. Dale Curriden will conduct the services. The speakers will be Roy Mynatt, Dennis Workman and Rusty Scheewe. Entombment will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2003 at Wells Funeral Home in Waynesville, where the body will remain until placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the services. At other times, the family will be at the home of Charles Jaynes, 475 Walnut Trail, Waynesville.
The pallbearers will be Damon, Steve, Mickey, Eddie, and David Jaynes, Jeff Razor, Rusty Scheewe and Dennis Workman.
