Keri Tyler

Keri Ann Tyler, age 25, died Tuesday, September 30, 2008, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was a native of Michigan and was also preceded in death by a brother, Jon Tyler. She was a loving mother and friend. Keri was free-spirited, happy and enjoyed spending time with her son. She will be missed deeply and will be in everyone's heart. She is survived by a son, Alexander James Philo of Waynesville; her father and step-mother, Dennis and Cheryl Tyler of Free Soil, MI; her mother, Kelley Harding of Manistee, MI; a brother, Joe Tyler of MI; five sisters Arneva, Carleina, Lisa, Barbara, and Melanie Tyler all of MI; and her dearest friend, James Philo of Canton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2008, at the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with the Reverend David H. Christy officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Bruce Jorden, James Philo, Jammie French, Jason Powell, Joe Tyler, and Andrew Forsburg. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 90 Stiles Road, Canton, NC 28716.
