Kevin Newcomb

Waynesville - Kevin Anthony Newcomb, age 25, of 81 Winston Way, died as a result of an accident on Monday, January 7, 2008. A native of Houston, TX, he was the son of Katherine Ryals Newcomb and the late Marcus Newcomb. He was employed for three years with Allison Outdoor Advertising. He was a member of Haywood Regional Fitness Center and enjoyed weight lifting and working on cars. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Liberty Newcomb; one sister, Danielle Carr and her husband, Eathon; one brother, Jonathan Harris; and two nephews, Gabriel Carr and Christian Harris, all of Waynesville. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 10, 2008 n the Waynesville Chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jonathan Harris, Eathon Carr, Elijah King, Rod Sellers, and Billy McMahon. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday prior to services.
