Kevin Owens

Canton- Kevin Lee Owens- age 49 of Newfound Road died Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Memorial Mission Hospital. He was a native of Fort Myers, Florida and a son of Leonard B. and Dorothy Sunman Owens. Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal granddad Sunman. He was of the Baptist faith, loved the ocean, fishing and spending time outdoors. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his girlfriend of ten years, Kathy King, of Canton; maternal grandmother, Dolly Sunman, of Fort Myers, FL; two sisters, Kim Hardin and her fiance, Jeff LeCroy and Tamy Keeney all of Pickens, SC; two brothers, Kelley Owens and his wife, Sherry, of Pickens, SC and Keith Owens and his wife, Janet, of Greenville, SC; two nieces, Kayla Hardin and Ashley Jarrell and four nephews, Chris Jarrell, Kevin and Shane Owens, and Matthew Hardin. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 10, 2006 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral & Cremation Services with the Reverend Jimmy Moore officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at 3294 Newfound Road.
