Kimberly Goodin

Balsam, Kimberly Jan Goodin, age 51, passed away on Friday, June 4, 2021 at Harris Regional Hospital.

A resident of North Carolina for most of her life, Kimberly proudly worked for 28 years at various hospitals in the area as a Revenue Integrity Analyst.  She was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church where she served as Treasurer and published the newsletter for Faith United Methodist Church for many years.  Kimberly’s many interests included traveling, crocheting, and flowers.  She also enjoyed cooking and adored her cats.  Kim’ s favorite holiday was Christmas and she especially enjoyed her Mother’s candy.  She will be remembered as being a wonderful daughter who will be dearly missed by her parents.

Left to treasure her memory are her loving parents, James Goodin and Martha Allen Goodin; special friend of 40 years, Keith Neighbors; special friend, Sandra Holshouser; numerous cousins and a host of other friends.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, 2021 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Jones officiating.  The family will receive friends following the service at Wells Events & Reception Center.
