Kirby Waddell, Sr.

Waynesville-Kirby Brian Waddell, Sr., age 68, of 476 West Annison Street, Scotttsboro, AL, died on Friday, April 7, 2006 at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, AL. A native of Haywood County, he was the son of the late Woodrow Wilson Waddell and Sadie Arrowood Waddell. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Adrene Massie Waddell who died in 2003 and a brother, Wilson Waddell who also died in 2003. He was employed by Valspar Furniture Manufacturing for ten years and retired in 2005. He is survived by one son, Kirby B. Waddell, Jr. and wife, Christine, of Canton; one step-son, Jack Moody, of Luray, VA; one step-daughter, Lycinda Moore and husband, Keith, of Clyde; one brother, Aaron Lynn Waddell, of Scottsboro, AL; five step-grandchildren; and two step-great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2006 at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park with Reverend Paul Starnes officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at Wells Funeral Home of Waynesville.
