Lance Brooks
December 10, 1915 — November 23, 2002
Clyde - Lance Lane Brooks, age 86, died Saturday, November 23, 2002 at the Brian Center of Weaverville.
He was a native of Haywood County and the son of the late George and Kate Brooks. He was also preceded in death by his twin sister, Margie Carter who died in 2001.
He is survived by a nephew John B. Carter and his wife, Scottie of Pineola, NC; a great-niece, Leslie Brock; two great-nephews, Martin Carter and Gary Shearer.
He was a United States World War II Army veteran.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 2nd at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Clyde.
