Leah Setzer

Canton-Leah Camille Setzer, age 15, of 95 Owl Holler Road, died Saturday, November 13, 2004 in a motor vehicle accident along with her friend Justin Ted Inman. She was a native and lifelong resident of Haywood County and was the daughter of Charles Barry and Rebecca Hyde Setzer of Canton. Leah was preceded in death by her grandfather Charles Wayne Setzer who died in 2001. She was a member of Dutch Cove Baptist Church and was a 9th grade student at Bethel Christian Academy in Canton. She played banjo, piano, and was in the Praise Band at Bethel Christian Academy and enjoyed playing volleyball. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her maternal grandparents Roy and Jacqueline Hyde of Canton and paternal grandmother Peggy Mills Setzer of Canton and one brother Nathan Setzer of Colorado Springs, CO. Joint funeral services for Leah and Justin will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2004 at Dutch Cove Baptist Church. Reverend Ed Lowder, Reverend Kim Milner and Reverend James Stinnett will officiate. Burial will follow at Morning Star Cemetery. The families will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday at Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services of Canton.
