Leighton Rice

Clyde- Leighton L. Rice died Friday, January 13, 2006 at Autumn Care Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Jonah and Eliza Rice. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Esther Helton Rice; one step-son Bill Weir of Novato, CA; 2 step-grandchildren, Susan Stubblebine of Rhonert Park, CA and Steve Weir of Ukiah, CA and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2006 in the Canton Chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Pisgah View Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
