Leila Yarborough

Waynesville-Leila Robinson Yarborough, age 88, of Kudzu Loop, died Wednesday, July 9, 2003 at Carolinas Medical Center in Pinesville, NC.

A native of Haywood County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur E. and Minervia Mull Robinson. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Grady A. Yarborough, who died in 1981. She was employed by the Haywood County School system as a dietician and worked in the Tuscola cafeteria until her retirement. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lake Junaluska.

She is survived by a son, Ray A. Yarborough and his wife, Carol, of Rock Hill, SC; and a grandson, Alan R. Yarborough of Charleston, SC.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2003 in the Waynesville chapel of Wells Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Garrett-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
