Lelia "Michelle" Jacobs, 52, passed away on April 28, 2024. Born on April 22, 1972, she lived a life filled with love and devotion that resonated through all aspects of her existence.
Michelle was a woman of many passions; she adored music and found solace in the nurturing role of motherhood and grand motherhood. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, serving as the guiding light of her life. Michelle also actively played the integral role of a devoted pastor's wife, spreading kindness and faith wherever she went. Alongside this, she found joy in leisurely activities such as spending time at the lake and embarking on thrilling motorcycle rides.
A faithful member of God's Temple Church, Michelle lived out her beliefs through her actions and interactions with others. Her presence illuminated the lives of those around her and left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Michelle leaves behind her father, James David Brown; her loving husband of 4 years, Brian Jacobs; the father of her children, Bret Presnell of 23 years; daughter, Savannah Bradshaw (Auston); son, Jonah Presnell (Summer); son, Hayden Presnell; a sister, Lisa McBride (Kevin), along with two nieces and nephews; three cherished grandchildren, Brooklyn Presnell, Layla Bradshaw, Layton-Atlas Bradshaw; along with close friends, Lisa Dolman, Shonda Cunningham, Sherry Shelton, Randi Dial, and Sandy Presnell.
Michelle is reunited in eternity with her beloved mother Lelia Elaine Brown; Maternal and Paternal grandparents; Special Uncle Robert Wendel "Bobby" Wright; and Mother-in-Law Linda Gail Presnell.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Allens Creek Baptist Church with Reverend Chris Willett and Reverend Scotty Patrick officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service.
A second service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday May 5, 2024, at God’s Temple Church in Lumberton, NC. Visitation will begin one hour prior to service.
Michelle was lovingly known to many as a die-hard Heels fan. She was lovingly referred to as "Big Momma” due to her big love for everyone around her.
As we bid farewell to Michelle Jacobs, let us carry forward her legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those we hold dear. May her memory be eternal.
