Lena Moore

Candler- Lena Pauline Moore , age 80, died Tuesday, November 9, 2004 at Memorial Mission Hospital Campus.<br><br>She was a native and lifelong resident of Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Paul Revere and Ella Mann Moore. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Gladys Benfield. Miss Moore retired from American Enka and was a member of Ridgeway Baptist Church.<br><br>She is survived by one sister, Lillian Warren of Candler, nieces Susan Wines, Brenda Robinson, Virginia Bradford and nephew Eddie Warren.<br><br>Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, November 11, 2004 at Ridgeway Baptist Church with the Reverend Jack W. Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service at the church.<br><br>Memorials may be made to Ridgeway Baptist Church, 525 Old US 19/23 Hwy, Candler, NC 28715.<br><br>A special thank you to the kind staff of Pisgah Manor Nursing Home where she had resided for the past two years.<br>
