Lester Roberts

Lester Roberts, age 59, died Friday, April 02, 2010 at Haywood Regional Medical Center. A native of Camden, SC, he was a son of the late Lester and Virginia McAbee Roberts. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by several aunts and uncles. He was the owner and operator of Lester Roberts Lawn Service for 22 years before retiring in 2006. Lester's grandfather, Phillip Roberts, was a patriotic person and he owned the land where Ft. Jackson sits. His father was at Pearl Harbor during the attack. Lester was a good hardworking man who never did anyone wrong. He is survived by a son, Lester "William" Roberts, Jr. and one sister, Geraldine Dial. No services are planned. Wells Funeral Homes & Cremation Services of Canton is in charge of the arrangements.
