Waynesville, Lillian Muse Henline, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at Smoky Mountain Health and Rehabilitation.
A native and life-long resident of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late Vance and Muriel Parris Muse. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by an infant son, Darrell Gene Henline; sister, Mildred Norman; five brothers, Gordon, Richard, Kenneth, Lewis and Carroll Muse; and two infant siblings. Lillian was a member of Allens Creek Baptist Church. She adored her children and grandchildren. Her favorite past time was cooking for friends and family and her potato salad was a staple they enjoyed.
Left to cherish Lillian’s memories are daughters, Marsha Henline, of Waynesville and Darlene McElrath, of Clyde; son, Dean Henline, and his wife, Traci, of Waynesville; sister-in-law Penny Muse, of Waynesville; four grandchildren, Lindsay Henline, Jeffery McElrath, Jared McElrath and Turner Henline; and one great-grandchild, Hudson Davis; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
A private graveside service will be at Green Hill Cemetery.
